MESSAGE BY MOST REV. ANTHONY NARH ASARE FOR 2026 VOCATION RALLY AT ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CATHOLIC CHURCH- ADENTA ON 25TH APRIL 2026
My dear youth this vocations rally is a moment of grace—a time to listen deeply to God’s voice calling each of you by name. Vocation is not simply about becoming a priest or a religious; it is about discovering God’s purpose for your life and responding with courage and generosity.
Some of you may feel called to the priesthood or religious life, to serve the Church with total dedication. Others are called to marriage and family life, to build homes rooted in love, faith, and sacrifice. Still others are called to professional and civic paths, where you witness Christ through integrity, excellence, and service. Every vocation is important. Every calling is sacred.
God’s call requires openness, discipline, and a willing heart. Do not be afraid to ask: “Lord, what do you want me to do?” In a world full of distractions, take time for prayer, the Eucharist, and spiritual guidance. These are the places where your vocation becomes clearer.
Dear young people, your life is not an accident. God has a plan for you—a plan to bring hope to the world through your unique gifts. The Church needs your energy, your talents, and your faith. Ghana needs young men and women who will stand for truth, live with integrity, and serve with compassion.
So be bold. Do not settle for less. Choose the path that leads you closer to God and allows you to serve others selflessly. Whether in the Church, the family, or society, your “yes” to God can transform lives.
May you listen, discern, and respond generously to God’s call.
